Over 400 citizens in Britain arrested and facing jail time for holding placards stating ‘I oppose genocide. I support Palestine Action.’
Their ‘crime’ is to mention ‘Palestine Action’ which is now a proscribed group according to the woefully inadequate British government, a government moving further towards an Orwellian state.
And Palestine Action’s crime was to spray paint some RAF planes and, yes, damage the planes. The perpetrators are facing court. That should be an end to the matter.
No human being was hurt which isn’t the case in Gaza nor the West Bank. Why isn’t Israel declared a terrorist State? The double standards and doublespeak smear a clear reality.
Gaza is not an ‘Enclave’ as the mainstream media are sometimes proclaiming, it’s ‘Occupied Territory.’ Any resistance to an occupation force is recognised as justified by The United Nations which recognizes the right of peoples to self-determination and which includes the right to resist foreign occupation, as outlined in various resolutions and international law, including the Fourth Geneva Convention.
Hamas is, therefore, not a terrorist group; it’s a resistance to foreign occupation.
The ‘doublespeak’ used by Western governments to justify continuing crimes against humanity indicates a threadbare attachment to democracy and a morally bankrupt approach to ongoing genocide, the greatest issue of our time.
Meanwhile, that brave Chinese man recently seen holding up a sign ‘Xi Jinping step down’ disappears into the Orwellian bowels of the Chinese system where any form of justice is completely lacking.
The Universe is vast and electric. No-one questions the vastness but electric goes against the accepted wisdom of gravity being the foundational force in play. Those whose very careers have depended upon a gravity model will not willingly give up that position regardless of the evidence science provides.
That attitude prevails in world affairs … until it no longer does.
