I don't know what it is that I don't know.

I don’t know of a country where there isn’t strife, a breakdown of law and order, unending conflict. Whether ‘it was always so’ – I don’t know but peace does appear to be a fragile aspect of the human condition.

‘Appearances are deceptive.’ This I know, whether it be in the political arena or the personal. Why it is so in the political arena is invariably because of agendas which aren’t made clear, because politicians are so often compromised and because the goals being sought are not in the public interest. Who’s to decide that public interest - lobbyists?

‘Too many people in the world’ say many and immediately start thinking in terms of eugenics, of ways in which to reduce those populations without ever having the courage of their convictions and killing themselves. Much the same with those despicable bastards so keen to send others to war. Ah – if only warmongers had to place themselves in the front line.

"There are known knowns. These are things we know that we know. There are known unknowns. That is to say, there are things that we know we don't know. But there are also unknown unknowns. There are things we don't know we don't know."

That was Donald Rumsfeld’s ‘clever’ deflection of the need for a straight answer in respect to a question at a news briefing about Iraq and those fabled ‘weapons of mass destruction.’

I’d thought that he’d used that quote in respect to the $2.3 trillion ‘lost’ by the Pentagon and which he’d mentioned at a news briefing on the day before 9/11 – of course, the missing trillions were never again mentioned.

A known known – at the time – was that there were no ‘weapons of mass destruction’ and that a pretext for war was needed and found. The consequences are still being felt.

The war in Iraq was based on a lie and the continuing meddling in the affairs of other nations knows no bounds so whose purpose is being served if not the ultimate goal of a new world order.

There is so much to which I could say ‘I don’t know’ but there are the events such as 9/11 in which the research can be done to show that it wasn’t some bearded terrorists but was, to some great extent, an inside job. George Bush was too unreliable and inconsequential to be privy to the machinations leading up to that event but Dick Cheney and Donald Rumsfeld were ‘players.’

I could list the remarkable coincidences which occurred on that day but one is sufficient to give pause for thought – apart from the fact that three buildings, not two, fell at close to free fall speed and, conveniently for rebuilding purposes, fell into their own footprint. Some bearded terrorists just happened to pick that day – of all days – in which to hijack planes when the whole of the American air forces were engaged in training exercises and were unable to respond. You can’t make this stuff up and expect people to believe it but they did believe and they still do and most Americans are still unaware that Building 7  - a forty seven story building not hit by a plane – collapsed. Why are they unaware and why have the media not seen fit to investigate? I could say ‘I don’t know’ but, truth be told, there’s very little media not controlled by those who control the narrative.

Socialism, Liberalism, Communism, Capitalism – there’s a schism in the ‘isms.’ I’m fortunate enough to have lived my early life in the U.K. and my later life in Australia. I say fortunate because both societies have a National Health system and an education system which is ‘free’ - to some extent. The point is not to quibble about how good either of the institutions actually are but to recognise that both societies see the importance of both health and education as paramount to a functioning and decent society and thus some of our taxes are used for those purposes. Some would say that it’s ‘socialism’ – I don’t give a stuff what people’s knee jerk reactions are and what they call it, it’s important to have those institutions available to all.

Communism doesn’t work and Capitalism has ceased to have much meaning since multi-national corporations received the same rights under the law as people - greater rights inasmuch as our rights cease when we die but corporations aren’t subject to mortality.

I don’t know what I don’t know but I do know that I won’t give my energy or intelligence to a new world order or to a globalist agenda.

All those ‘isms’ end up becoming Totalitarianism.
