Very strange aspect of history it is that ‘ancient’ conjures up the time of Christ or not much earlier when, in truth, it’s a tiny fraction of mankind’s existence and God, whatever God may be, did not leave those prior humans without access to spiritual life.
No venerable Jewish scribe, no matter how long his beard, compares with an Aboriginal spiritual life tens of thousands of years more ancient, more real than the ‘laws’ being foisted upon the world by these scribes. Whereas these ethical values and principles have been the bedrock of society from the dawn of civilization, when they were known as the Seven Noahide Laws;
Whereas without these ethical values and principles the edifice of civilization stands in serious peril of returning to chaos;

And so it goes, the relentless hunger for power and control by those least able to use it for the benefit of all.
Meanwhile, the weather here has been beautiful, cool, Autumn, misty, days perfect for renewed growth after a blistering Bushfire season. A season which has left many with trauma enough without adding a virus.
How life changes, everyday social activity slows or almost ceases and playing music with my nephews – a rare event - gets postponed.
But life goes on, I still take my walks and enjoyed five days of sun last week during which I took the whipper snipper to our local park and did some guerrilla gardening. Can’t get any more socially isolated than a man with a whipper snipper.
Meanwhile signs go up saying ‘Cash not accepted’ – perfect time to introduce a cashless society worldwide while fear of germs takes hold.
Hard to know how the next few months will unfold. Perhaps 5G roll outs will proceed at pace because demand will increase and voices of caution over the health aspects of 5G will just not be heard.
Populations may be confined but agendas continue. Origin Energy here in Australia are proceeding with fracking regardless of tribal outcry echoed by many in the wider population.
That’s the point, umpteen agendas continue while we’re distracted.
