...... a cheerful voice was heard and that was the news ...

What we believe matters inasmuch as it colours our view of reality. Reality itself is problematic because our knowledge - as opposed to belief - is always limited by the facts at our disposal and how we then choose to interpret those facts. Voices in the wilderness are useless if no-one hears those voices. I listen to those voices. I read the words carried by the wind. I know - as opposed to believe - that the world is not in its present state by accident. Conspiracy in the air? Of course. ‘False flag’ events happen with monotonous regularity but if you raise questions the ‘powers that be’ have a powerful weapon. Just ignore it and within a generation or two - all will be forgotten and history can always be rewritten. Inconvenient facts are only inconvenient while the facts are there for anyone with curiosity to find. It’s no wonder that the internet is such a two edged sword that the ‘powers that be’ want it curtailed, emasculated and subservient to ends which do not benefit mankind. Google and Facebook are now the tools and serve purposes for which their users never wished for nor expected. I wonder how much longer before fascism is the only rule of Earthly law. Cheers one and all. Off to work where a depressed spirit is as useless as a voice in the wilderness that no-one hears.
