Do you remember the antics of Tweedledum and Tweedledee?
Unable to agree on much and with a short attention span, they battled each other over imagined insults. They postured, preened and thought themselves terribly clever.
Alice thought otherwise.
It’s nauseating to hear the ‘leaders of the free world’ express their collective outrage in regards to a Syrian situation which didn’t exist until Libya was crushed..... can’t be in too many places at once.
Libya followed Iraq and Afghanistan ...... all bent, broken and twisted to Imperial ambition.
‘Poison gas’ .... oh gosh ..... and with a total disconnect, the brave allies continue to use depleted uranium in their ammunition, to thus poison their own troops and continue to turn the Middle East into tent city and, all the while, crying crocodile tears about the ‘innocent.’
How easily our leaders parrot phrases such as ‘regime change.’
It sounds ... nasty ... regime ..... a bit fascist, a bit jack booted ..... a bit like America and Israel.
Hey - if you can say it, I can say it. Isn’t this free speech?
We need regime change in the U.S.A. and Israel was always a ... ‘mistake.’ Neither can call themselves ‘free’ in any sense that our ancestors would understand and neither can be called a democracy.
With the anniversary of ‘false flag’ 9/11 a few weeks away, with the whole world tottering upon financial ruin, with Fukushima poisoning the seas, the hollow commercials singing “Things .... can only get better.” just don’t add up.
Well - they do add up if blind greed and monstrous ambition is the motivating force.
Anything to distract the people.
Here in the Blue Mountains, Spring is in the air.
I’ve been unwell for awhile but still managed to do some ‘hard yakka’ gardening and the natural view of the landscape through the window is picture perfect.
For some odd reason, this whole world situation reminds me of the headstone for Spike Milligan’s grave, upon which he insisted be carved......
“I told you I was sick.”
Back in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass, Alice continues on a journey familiar to us.
Counter intuitively for a singer/songwriter, I've turned the automatic music player off - you can turn it on easily enough.
The songs are all free within the music section.
