... 'believe in me' said the blind man ...

So - if the pundits are to be believed, we are entering ‘the uncharted waters’ - and uncharted they are. Zimbabwe - where the beautiful voice of Cathy Buckle has been silenced. Perhaps starved to death or died in horrible circumstance. Either way, Mugabe remains in power and a despot rules instead of ‘the good’. Palestine remains an illusion which the present Israeli government is implacably opposed to, regardless of public posturing and Egypt - long subservient to western world demands - cuts off supply lines to the pathetic puddles of land which comprise ‘Palestine’. In a weird synchronicity, a film called ‘Kissing Jessica Stein’ is playing on T.V. as I type. It deals with lesbian love as experienced by a Jewish woman and does it in a gentle and kind manner. The underlying humanity regardless of race, sex, religion or dogma which connects all of us. It’s important to speak, particularly as the move, worldwide, is to create the conditions whereby we, ultimately, demand a world government and micro- chipping of the population and all that goes with it. You don’t have to concede the existence of the Illuminate to accept that the world is drastically out of kilter and - ‘who gains?’ - one of the perennial questions - and answered by the personal education which leads to an understanding that the motives of those who wield power - even in the most ‘democratic’ societies - are utterly compromised by - human nature in its worst dimensions. This is understood by all of us to some degree. Our neighbours plant vegetable patches and keep chickens. There’s a sense of - don’t depend on ‘the Government’ to provide. Government is incapable of dealing with the ebb and flow of natural disaster let alone the man-made variety. I have a sort of reverence for Chinese culture which wouldn’t exist - and neither would China - if it weren’t for the influence of the ‘I Ching’, upon which Confucius based his life. It permeates and has been the fabric which has allowed the Chinese culture to, basically, flourish since before records began. I have the same sense of reverence for Aboriginal spirituality which truly transcends the degradation in which so many of that race live out a painful existence. The days have been perfect. Autumn colours starting to show yet new growth appearing on the Tree Ferns. It won’t be long before the daffodils appear. Keep well. I’ll keep singing.
