Cold comfort Camellias flower pink and white and herald the drop in temperature to outright cold. A grey blanket of cloud rumples the sky and the birds buff up against the breeze. Glad I’ve got most of the gardening tasks done.
You need to be sturdy to thrive in the mountains. Spring comes late and winter early. Daffodils look confused but that’s probably me..... I don’t feel particularly sturdy of late but - not having been in my sixties before - I don’t know what’s ‘to be expected.’
Got to check whether the smart meter installed recently is responsible for odd dizzy spells. The whole planet is literally enmeshed with electromagnetic smog so there’s an experiment underway, deliberate or not, in which all of us are involved.
Thank God for music. I never much appreciated jazz but I find myself playing along to some jazz jam tracks getting dusty in the library and it’s good fun to play....... I just use less notes and don’t worry too much about the beat. Probably missing the point entirely but it’s a pleasant change from Pearl Jam and the like.
The 2012 logo for the Olympics is the ugliest of logos. A clumsy pretence at 2012 which reads as Zion just as easily. The security measures involve ground to air missiles strategically placed upon apartment roofs. For what purpose? Maybe expecting an invasion.
By any measure, the world is not getting ‘better’ but these ARE the times in which Kali Yuga - the age of decline, destruction, moral depravity and disintegration - manifest. We don’t have to look far to see that.
J.P. Morgan lose three billion dollars in one trade which is explained away in a few paragraphs by their spokesman. It’s due to lax procedure and poorly thought out strategy. It’s breathtaking. They lose the equivalent of a national debt for a small country and life goes on without missing a beat - ‘cause they won’t do it again. If you or I did that we wouldn’t get away with an ‘Ooops sorry.’
And Central Banks - utterly fraudulent in nature - print more money based on gambling and producing nothing of value. Bloated parasites, dressing sharp with gleaming teeth drink the wealth of nations.
Bah humbug....cold comfort it will turn out to be.
Better light the fire - it’s getting cold.
