recognition of the child - fall of an empire

‘Cognitive dissonance’ … In the field of psychology, cognitive dissonance is the mental discomfort experienced by a person who simultaneously holds two or more contradictory beliefs, ideas, or values.

Hmm … it used to be that politics and religion weren’t considered appropriate topics of conversation around the dinner table and, for many, that still holds true. I don’t hold that to be ‘true’ however, in the world in which we now live and to keep the peace within the family I desist from mentioning the inconsistencies surrounding 9/11 which indicate a deeply flawed official story just as I desist from mentioning the history of Central Banks and the fact that the Federal Reserve is neither Federal nor a Reserve. It prints money out of thin air and is a privately owned concern.

The video below sets out clearly the ‘how and why’ of empires failing and does it in an entertaining way. Understanding these matters doesn’t make me a better person but it helps to be educated, to be somewhat mentally prepared.

The song on the player, ‘Recognition of the child – fall of an empire’,  is my take on the personal aspects of this matter.
